Nicholas and his lovely sisters recently threw a surprise party to celebrate their parents' incredible 50th wedding anniversary. And guess what? They asked us to create a special family tree that would include as many members of their big Catholic clan as possible. It was truly a touching moment when we found out that the family tree gift we designed became the star of their golden anniversary celebration!
For the tree design, Nicholas provided us with the first name and surname for married men and unmarried women. But for the married women, he wanted their first name, maiden surname, and married surname to show their family origins. Such a clever way to keep track of everyone, right? Oh, and for their extended family and close friends, he wanted to use first names only. Simple and sweet.
To add a little extra flair, Nicholas asked us to sprinkle some leaves throughout the tree. And here's the cherry on top: he chose his mother's favorite Psalm as a quote to include at the base of the print. It goes like this:
The Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
How beautiful is that!?
Once Nicholas approved the final design, it was printed, professionally framed, and shipped out--a premium quality gift arriving ready to present to his parents right out of the package. But Nicholas didn't stop there. He had additional prints made for each of his wonderful sisters. Talk about spreading the love!
All in all, it was a delightful experience working with Nicholas on the Santoro family tree. Discovering our family tree artwork was the centerpiece of their celebration was an absolute honor!
